Domotex, the leading international trade fair for floor coverings including wood flooring and carpets, is back for another year. The event is set to kick off in Hannover on the 12th to the 15th January 2013, and organisers are expecting another impressive turnout.

2012’s event, also held in the German city of Hannover, was a resounding success. Over 1,000 exhibitors attracted more than 45,000 visitors from 82 countries, and the trade fair’s concept of ‘Customized Living’ was a very popular one.

The concept running through all areas of the show in January 2013 will be ‘Flooring Deluxe’, a theme which focuses on products which stand out from others on the market and become the central element in any room in terms of their exclusivity, quality and design.

Dr Jochen Kockler, a Member of the Board at Deutsche Messe AG, described Domotex 2013, saying:

“No other event offers the industry such a popular and internationally acclaimed platform. The keynote theme, Flooring Deluxe, reflects an important market trend in favour of premium floor coverings and clearly puts the focus of Domotex 2013 on products that excel in terms of quality and design.”

Domotex 2013 is expecting to attract 40,000 trade visitors from around 80 countries, as well as 1,400 companies from 60 countries.
